Lessons Learned

- Be flexible
- Work with what I have and stop wishing for tools or other things I could have
- Do not think I am are better than other people because I have more money, an education, or an SDA, but we are all equal in God's eyes
- Jesus calls me to share my blessings with others that do not have as much
- Everything in Peru is made with the lowest quality material as possible so that it can be fixed as much as possible.
- There is more than one way to fix or do something
- People do not have what I take for granted everyday
- Learning another language is not the easiest thing in the world.
- Stop thinking only about myself. God did not create just me.
- I naturally want to be so controlling of everything around me. What I need to do is learn to give that control totally to God. It belongs to Him.
- Just like Job or the disciples in the boat during a storm, when all the comforts and distractions of home are taken away, all that is left to turn to is God.
- Hit the nails as hard as possible, and there is a better chance they will go into the wood without bending.
- God's nature is amazing! Especially all the colorful bugs in the jungle.
- My responsibility as a Christian is narrowed down to two points: 1. Getting myself ready for Christ second coming by having a relationship with Him. 2. Sharing and helping others to get ready.
