God's Creatures

This morning I went on a 2 hour trail run. About half way through, I was taking a walking break so I could eat something. Then this weird squeaking noise got my attention. I got closer to within 15 feet to investigate. There on the side of the hill was an animal. I stood there as still as possible for it to resume it's activities. This chipmunk sneaked up to the small hole in the ground then made a chirping noise I hadn't heard a chipmunk make before. The all of a sudden. . .a second chipmunk popped it's head out the hole! The first chipmunk then jumped a foot and a half into the air and then ran around. Then the second went back into the hole. This was repeated several times. One of the times it happened at the back door to the home which I did not see before. It was really fun to watch these two chipmunks playing. I stood there and watched for a good 10 minutes. God's creatures are so amazing to watch and how they interact with each other. He must have enjoyed creating them all.
